1. Purpose
These Terms & Conditions apply to the online sale of immersive experiences (guided tours, outdoor activities, culinary workshops, motorbike road trips, kayaking, canyoning, home stays, etc.) on the VERY GOOD TRIP LP website. They apply to all customers booking through the platform.
2. What is the role of VERY GOOD TRIP LP
VERY GOOD TRIP LP is the e-commerce branch of the VERY GOOD TRIP group. We act as a trusted intermediary between you and independent local providers such as guides, hosts, and local travel agencies.
Some experiences may also be operated by affiliated agencies that are part of the VERY GOOD TRIP network. Unless otherwise specified, we are not the direct organizer of the activities. Our role is to connect you with local experts and make the booking process smooth and secure.
3. Booking and Confirmation
Bookings are made via our website. After payment is completed, customers receive an automatic email acknowledging the request. Final confirmation of availability is sent within 48 hours. If the activity is unavailable, the full amount will be refunded.
4. Prices and Payment
All prices are shown in Euros and include VAT. Full payment is required at the time of booking via the secure Stripe platform (credit/debit cards accepted).
In certain cases, especially to simplify local logistics, payment may be offered in the local currency of the activity’s destination. If so, euro prices displayed on the website are for reference only. The exact local amount will be shown at checkout.
5. Cancellation and Refunds

Automatic cancellation via the website: the customer may cancel their booking directly online within a maximum of 1 hour after purchase → 100% automatic refund.

Beyond the first hour after purchase: any request must be sent by e-mail to contact@verygoodtrip.net and will be processed under specific conditions.

Cancellation within 6 days from the exact time and date of purchase: 100% refund, subject to approval by our team.

Cancellation up to 15 days before the excursion date: refund of 70% of the booking amount.

Cancellation less than 15 days before the excursion date: no refund possible.

Last-minute bookings: any excursion booked after the automatic cancellation deadline (1 hour after purchase) is non-refundable.

Refund timeline: Very Good Trip LP will process refunds within 8 days to 3 weeks.

Cancellation by Very Good Trip LP:

In case of exceptional weather conditions or other circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the excursion.

If no agreement is reached between both parties within 2 weeks before the scheduled date, Very Good Trip LP will refund 90% of the booking amount.

6. Responsibilities
VERY GOOD TRIP LP is committed to providing professional support before, during, and after your booking. We carefully select our local partners and affiliated agencies to ensure safe, authentic, high-quality experiences.
In the event of issues or dissatisfaction, customers are encouraged to contact the local provider directly. However, VERY GOOD TRIP LP remains available to assist, mediate, and help find fair solutions.
Our goal is to build trust and maintain transparency with every traveller.
7. Insurance
Local partners and affiliated agencies carry their own professional insurance. However, we strongly recommend that all travellers purchase personal travel insurance covering sports activities, accidents, cancellations, and repatriation.
This ensures added peace of mind and protection during your trip.
8. Personal Data
VERY GOOD TRIP LP only collects personal data needed to process bookings. Data is never sold or shared with third parties.
In accordance with GDPR, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by contacting contact@verygoodtrip.net.
We may also send promotional or personalized offers by email based on your past or potential bookings. You may unsubscribe at any time via the link provided in each email or by contacting us directly.
9. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms & Conditions are governed by Scottish law. In case of a dispute, we will first seek an amicable resolution. If needed, only the courts of Edinburgh will have jurisdiction.
10. Acceptance of Terms
By confirming a booking on our site, you agree to these Terms & Conditions in full.
